Mangal Turkish Grill - Clearwater: Authentic Turkish Dining with Fresh Mediterranean Flavors

Absolute gem of a restaurant. Started with the blended red lentil soup that was the best lentil soup I've ever had served with hot pita bread. Followed this with an exquisite oven baked hummus with Turkish sausage paired with a giant lavosh bread. Then had an amazing Lahmacun that was 3 giant pieces. The toppings and seasoning on this were incredible. Absolute must try and will definitely be back.

Wow! What a great Turkish restaurant in N. Clearwater! What a delicious Turkish food! What a friendly and pleasant hostess/owner Nalan! What a great and professional cook, Halil. What a wonderful atmosphere with nice music and interior design! What an amazing outside garden with the playground for kids! This place is awesome. My husband and I had such a great dinner and we felt like home.

This husband-and-wife-run spot, with the main chef from Turkey’s kebab-famous Adana region, serves up authentic, mouthwatering dishes. The Adana Kebap is a must-try—spicy, smoky, and grilled to perfection. Their vibrant salads and appetizers, like creamy haydari or fresh shepherd’s salad, are perfect starters. Pair your meal with complimentary Turkish tea and, if you can, grab a porch seat for a refreshing sunset vibe—rare for the area. The food and warm hospitality make this halal gem a Clearwater standout. Highly recommend! (Open daily for lunch and dinner; reservations suggested for outdoor seating.)

This restaurant is fabulous! Very minimal but clean decor is very much reminiscent of Mediterranean sensibilities. Turkish music playing and Turkish coffee available. The service is attentive and enthusiastic about hospitality and sharing the joy that comes with healthy, fresh, well prepared cultural dishes. We came for lunch and the menu is more limited during lunch. We had two different lamb dishes and both were excellent. Served with rice and salad. We decided to try the Kunafa for dessert….wow! What a delicious treat! Unlike anything I’ve ever had before, the sweet cheese is wrapped in toasted pastry dough, crunchy and syrupy! I can’t wait to have it again!

Such amazing food, service & atmosphere. Really enjoyed my experience at Mangal Turkish Grill. Very reasonably priced and genuine mediterranean cuisine hot from the grill. Definitely recommend!

Take a chance on this place—you won’t be disappointed. Started with the fresh, hearty yellow lentil soup, followed by The fried liver is incredible: tender, flavorful, and perfectly paired with fresh tomatoes and pickled onions. The liver shank was absolutely to die for—falling off the bone and served with the most delicious rice, potatoes, and carrots. Also ordered that meat pie and it was just ridiculously delicious. To finish, we indulged in their warm bread dessert and classic baklava—both the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. Mangal Turkish Grill is one of those rare spots you have to visit. Once the food hits your table, all you'll be doing is enjoying every bite.

Absolutely incredible spot… don’t walk, run here as soon as you can. Every dish was bursting with fresh, rich flavor. We ordered the lentil soup, fried liver appetizer, meat pie that came with this minty salad, lamb shank, baklava, and an unforgettable bread pudding-style dessert infused with lemon rind. Every bite was melt-in-your-mouth perfection. This is hands down some of the best, most authentic Turkish food I’ve had. Generous portions make it perfect for lunch or dinner, and the charming outdoor patio is a lovely bonus.

This is the EXACT experience you hope to stumble upon when trying new restaurants and new food. Every dish was deliciously authentic, and it made me feel like I was dining in someone's home with the best hospitality. I will absolutely recommend and go back as long as I live in the Tampa Bay area.
